About Us

D & H Reel Repairs have been servicing and supplying parts for all types and makes of fishing reels since 2002, from our base of operations in South East Queensland. This workshop is well equipped and able to handle any sized job.
We stock an ever growing inventory of reel spare parts, including miniature bearings and carbontex drag washers.
All reels are serviced with the same care as though they were our own, and this job is done by Duncan personally. The reels receive a service report upon job completion and are then returned to the client in a sealed condition. All old parts are returned to the client.
Due to extensive past experience as a diesel fitter, we can also provide boat services, such as: repairs, wiring, engine services, complete fit-outs and customizing.

Reel Servicing & Reel Repairs
We are your one stop shop for reel repairs and servicing. We have the facility to manufacture parts for various reels if need be.
If you plan on dropping off your reel in person, email or phone ahead to make an appointment. If you are sending your reel via post, you must fill out the service form and this must accompany the reel when you send it in. Feel free to look through our price list.
Spare Parts
Our stock of spare parts, including gears and handles, grows ever larger even as you read this. Included in our assortment are a wide range of miniature bearings, carbontex drag washers, lubricants and specialized custom parts.
Drag Upgrades
Drag upgrades are available for most reels, from lapping steel drag washers to ground stainless steel metal washers, from carbontex washers to felt and cork. All washers can be custom cut to suit your needs.
